INITIAL EVALUATION:
Before initiating BHRT, we subject each patient to an evaluation process to determine suitability, individual risks, and contra-indications to hormone optimization. The process consists of:
1. Comprehensive health questionnaire
2. Complete history and physical examination
3. Comprehensive panel of laboratory tests, including hormone levels
HORMONE PRESCRIPTION:
The results laboratory tests are available about 1 week later. Based on these, and the results of your initial evaluation, a hormone prescription is generated. You will be shown how to administer these hormones by our staff.
FOLLOW-UP:
Laboratory tests will be repeated in 3 weeks to determine hormone levels and subsequent prescriptions will be adjusted to optimize levels. This process will be repeated until desired results are achieved.
